The body size is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7, but the larger 5.8 inch display and the 18.5:9 aspect ratio make the difference. Samsung is aiming to reduce bezels belows and above the screen. That can be achieved by removing the physical home button from the front of the phone as shown in the images and by moving the fingerprint's location to the back of the phone. The new Samsung Galaxy S8 will also feature an iris scanner which provides a secure way of unlocking the device and performing payments.
